Our Story

Welcome to Gizmo's Creations! Named for my Rex cat. We originated in 1998 when I began as a Vendor at the Portland Saturday Market and Sundays too, at our daughters suggestion. It is the nation's longest-running outdoor all handmade in the USA crafters market.

The Saturday Market is located under the Burnside bridge in downtown Portland, Oregon. The market is open the first week-end in March to December 24th, every Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sundays 11am-4:30pm. But you can buy stuff here all year round!

Gizmo has been at my side daily as "we" design the hand crafted items on display in this site. All of our merchandise uses the finest materials with strict attention to detail and quality standard.

All of our products are hand crafted, and be sure to check our site from time to time to see the new fabric products. In the future, we will be adding different lines of items we make.
